The Financial Reporting Award (FiRe) is the most prestigious and coveted award in East Africa for financial reporting.
Fire Awards has recognized and awarded the best reporting entities in East Africa for the last 15 years with the aim of promoting integrated reporting through enhancing accountability, transparency and integrity in compliance with appropriate financial reporting framework and other disclosures on governance, social and environmental reporting by private and public entities.

The award is open to all organizations that prepare annual reports and audited financial statements. It is not only a competition but also a healthy gauge for the compliance trends among corporate entities.

This year, it took place at Windsor Golf and Country Club and Faulu emerged best overall in the Microfinance Institutions Category.
