Faulu Kenya DTM “Faulu” is a leading Deposit taking Microfinance Institution in Kenya. Faulu serves over 500,000 customers spread across 32 branches all over the country. All the branches are interconnected for seamless services with the core banking system residing at the head office in Nairobi. Faulu has
partnered with various agents to provide full time services to its customers, including ATM vendors, MBanking & Point of Sale agents.

Faulu is interested in conducting a security assessment that will allow it to:

• Gain a better understanding of potential corporate network vulnerabilities that may be visible on the LAN/WAN.
• Determine if the current wireless network is configured securely.
• Evaluate the security threats associated with agency applications that are used by Faulu Kenya’s customers.

These activities are part of Faulu’s ongoing risk management program and are focused on identifying the risk level Faulu is currently exposed to so that an appropriate set of responses to those threats can be developed.

Faulu is seeking to identify and select an external independent organization to perform the activities listed above. Detailed RFP documentation can be obtained from our offices addressed below. The office will be open between 9 am and 4 pm weekdays. All proposals should be submitted by 09/05/2012 at 12 pm.
